Alright, craft beer lovers and snobs, let’s talk about Beer Zombies and our latest quest for liquid gold! We ventured into the neon-soaked madness of Las Vegas, but not for the slots or the shows. No, our target was much more sinister… and delicious. We paid a visit to the legends at Beer Zombies Brewing, and let’s just say, it was a killer time!
First off, huge shoutout to the mastermind himself, Chris Jacobs, he was filling in at the taps and took the time to hang with us, poured every round, and gave us the grand tour of their facility. Walking through that brewery was like stepping into a beautiful, hoppy nightmare. The passion this guy has for craft beer is palpable, and it shows in every aspect of the place. The atmosphere is just plain cool; industrial, edgy, and covered in some truly awesome zombie art. And the projected logo… it’s just one of the things that makes this the kind of spot where you just want to grab a pint and soak in the vibes.
Craft Beer Zombies Apocalypse Now
Wee had our first taste of Beer Zombies beer when at the Yard House over by the LINQ so of course we decided to seek out the source a couple of days later while we were still in Las Vegas. Wee were NOT disappointed.
Our taste tour started strong with Zombie Duck Hunter, a refreshing and balanced brew that had us ready for action. Then we dove headfirst into Zombie Wars, an Imperial IPA that packs a seriously hoppy punch. Seriously, this thing is a beast, and we loved every minute of it.
But the absolute showstopper of the night? Amityville After Dinner Party. This Imperial Stout is simply exceptional. Rich, decadent, and ridiculously smooth, it’s like a warm hug for your taste buds. We were so blown away by this liquid perfection that Brady and I awarded it our rarest and most prestigious honor: Five Caps on Untappd!
For perspective, I’ve checked in 2,205 unique beers on Untappd since February 22, 2012 and have only given 63 of them 5 caps (2.86%). That’s some serious high praise coming from Weebeers and we highly recommend the Amityville After Dinner Party for anyone that enjoys bourbon barrel aged beer. And if you are in the Las Vegas area, get yourself to Beer Zombies Brewing as it is well worth the trip just for this one beer alone!

Check out the incredible atmosphere, hang out in the back room with video games and a window into the brewing floor, the skateboard art, the awesome tunes, and most importantly, treat your taste buds to some truly incredible craft beer.
