Taphouses & Bars

The Massive Tap List at Beveridge is a Wee Hit

The Tap List at Beveridge is a packed chalk board to the right of the bar

In the heart of West Seattle’s Morgan Junction, Beveridge Place Pub (or “The Bev” to locals) is more than just a bar; it’s a sanctuary for the craft obsessed. While many taprooms focus on a single brewery, Beveridge Place Pub is a “curator’s pub,” taphouse offering a rotating selection of 37 taps that showcase the best of the Pacific Northwest and the world.

As we head into the end of 2025, the draft list is a perfect reflection of the season: heavy on dark malts, festive lagers, and the champions of their annual “Hopvemberfest.”

The 2025 Winter Draft Highlights

The beauty of Beveridge Place Pub is that the menu changes almost daily. However, current standouts for the December 2025 season include:

1. The Heavy Hitters & Barleywines

Winter at the Bev is synonymous with big, warming ales.

  • Batch 500 Barleywine (Little Beast Brewing): A decadent, English-style barleywine brewed to celebrate a milestone. Expect notes of sweet toffee, caramel, and a hint of tobacco.
  • Abt 12 (St. Bernardus): A world-class Belgian Quadrupel that is a permanent fixture for those who love dark fruit and spice.

2. The IPA Champions (Hopvemberfest)

November just wrapped up the Beveridge Place Pub’s famous Hopvemberfest, where patrons voted on the “House IPA” for 2026. You’ll currently find the “Elite Eight” finalists on tap, including heavyweights from:

3. Seasonal Lagers & Dark Spirits

  • Julebokk Winter Lager (Reuben’s Brews): A festive nod to Nordic tradition, this lager is clean but hearty enough for a cold Seattle night.
  • Bru Ski Patrol (Dru Bru): An award-winning German-style Dunkel that is essentially “toast and chocolate” in a glass.
  • Czech Christmas Lager (Obec Brewing): A rare, high-ABV winter lager that brings a bit of Prague to West Seattle.

The Beveridge Place Pub “Cask-O-Rama” Experience

One of the most unique features of Beveridge Place Pub is the Beer Engine. They are one of the few spots in Seattle dedicated to proper cask-conditioned ale.

  • Current Cask: Look for traditional British-style Bitters or even “casked” versions of local IPAs, served at cellar temperature with a creamy, natural carbonation that you can’t get from a standard CO2 tap.

Why “The Bev” Stands Out

It’s not just the 37 taps; it’s the philosophy.

  • The “BYOF” Policy: They don’t have a kitchen, but they actively encourage you to bring in food from local Morgan Junction icons like Zeeks Pizza or Beveridge Place Sandwich Shop.
  • The Dog-Friendly Vibe: The “Green Room” in the back and the outdoor patio are legendary spots to hang with your four-legged friends while sampling a flight.
  • The Bottle List: If the 37 taps aren’t enough, they maintain a “Cellar List” of over 100 bottles, ranging from rare Belgian lambics to vintage stouts.
